I was trying to get dinner ready the other night and Brooke did not want in her swing or bouncy chair, so on the floor she went. With our little helpers around, she does not usually get a lot of 'floor' time--it is usually a little, well actually 'a lot' dangerous for her to be on the floor. Everyone was back in the hall and bedrooms playing so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity--I put a blanket down and she was loving every minute of it!! I gave her two toys, she is just learning how to hold onto them. :) She was kicking and playing with her toys--it was quite cute!! She is beginning to talk and make all kinds of fun sounds!!
A few minutes later I heard that the 'party' had moved into the living room where Brooke was on the floor--so I went in to check on the situation and she was in the middle of it ALL!!! Kara told me Brooke was bored with the two toys I gave her and wanted more--so she kindly dumped the basket of toys out so she could pick which one she wanted!! Oh what GREAT helpers I have!!
