OK, I just have to write this post because I LOVE MY HUSBAND!! He is truly amazing!! Yesterday when we got home from church he was starving and so were the kids. The kids got themselves all undressed and dressed themselves in play clothes. It is sooo nice, Tyler, Brandon, and Kara do this all themselves!! YEAH!! Emily does OK undressing but she needs some assistance getting dressed. Troy was starving, he told me he would get Emily dressed if I would start dinner, to quicken the process--I agreed. Brooke was sleeping soundly in her swing, so that made it nice! I had Emily and Brooke's clothes set out on the back of the couch, but Emily had knocked them all off in her attempt to get her clothes down to dress herself. Troy gathered all the clothes up and began dressing Emily. Tyler, Brandon, and Kara were running back and forth between the kitchen and living room and I was cooking meat for our Tacos!! All of a sudden I hear Troy say, "Hey, don't we have some pants that fit Emily better than this, these are like hip waders!" I am still in the kitchen getting dinner ready and I replied, "Um, her pants are actually a little on the long side, what are you talking about?" Tyler and Brandon then bust out laughing and I walk into the room and this is what I see......
Remember, we have 1:00 church so Emily was BEYOND TIRED and VERY HUNGRY and NOT impressed we were ALL laughing hysterically at HER--well actually her Dad, but she didn't understand that!!
Emily had Brooke's pants on--(Brooke is 3 months and Emily is 20 months) Emily wanted them off, fed, and put to bed!! She did NOT see the humor we all did!!
I had to throw this picture in...much better fit!! Brooke was NOT going to smile!!!
We all, well except Emily, got a good laugh over this little 'mistake.' Troy said, "Obviously, I don't help dress the kids enough!" In his defense, he is usually gone when we do our little dress routine for the day!! We all needed a good laugh and got one so that's ALL that mattered!! THANKS TROY!!!

that is so cute. Sadly - even Gavin has done that - he has put Rylan's pants on before - and he didn't notice the problem - I DID! Poor Troy!
I for one enjoyed this little story because I remember a time where our husbands would spend too much time at work passing back and forth our embarrassing moments.
