Kara and Alyssa of course changed 100 times--between cute night gowns and dress up clothes. It was quite funny---they would change and then go outside and play---we never knew what they would have on--one time it was clothes, then it was pajamas, then it was dresses---SILLY, SILLY girls!! Kara LOVED Alyssa's night gowns---funny girl!! The kids had a blast swinging and playing on the little playground of Grandma's and it was an absolute GORGEOUS day---we LIVED outside. They also had fun jumping on the trampoline---they were always on the go! Always something to do!!
Two Christmass ago--Laurel and Karen got a BUNCH of dart guns and we had a little war!! It was hilarious!!! Kids and adults participated--that's what made it sooooo wild and crazy--it was obviously indoors at that time!! Well, the kids have never stopped talking about that---they LOVED it!! Debbie kept the BIG box of guns and darts in the garage for another crazy day---well this was the DAY!!! We got 'the box' out and had a HAY DAY!! It really was a LOT of fun!! The kids think it is soooo COOL because they got to shoot at Grandma and Grandpa---it really was HILARIOUS!! Definitely some GREAT memories created!!
Grandma Debbie had eggs boiled and ready to dye---oh my--the kids were ecstatic!! They thought that was the coolest thing!! Grandma Debbie really is GREAT--she had so many FUN activities for the kids to do the entire weekend!! We love you Grandma!! Jamie was good to help with the coloring of eggs too---she was a great sport!! I was nominated to take pictures. Troy was laying down with Emily because she was oh so TIRED--a two year old can't last ALL day without a nap--especially when she gets up at 6:30!! The kids really had a BLAST coloring the eggs! The kids really had fun creating and mixing colors!! They were very creative. Kara used her spoon to stir her eggs, she also used to to take a quick 'sip' of the vinegar coloring. Her face was classic---I wish I would have videoed it--VERY FUNNY!! Grandma helped her out by giving her some candy to get the nasty taste out!!
We then went inside
and had a little down time--we took a half hour and let the kids just chill and watch Bolt. It was nice to have some peace and quiet!! The guys were sent outside to prepare the Easter Egg Hunt!! Karen and her kids and grand kids came over and so did Grandma Thompson. We had our Hunt---thanks Karen---you ALWAYS put on a FUN event!!! The kids had a BLAST---they thought the Hunt was pretty neat because it wasn't just eggs--there were COOl toys!!! The kids really had FUN!! It was funny to watch Emily--she found a few pieces of candy and then she just sat down and enjoyed her candy--she wasn't worried about finding anymore---she had what she wanted!! It was fun to see Grandma Thompson--she had a good time watching the kids have fun!!
The FUN was not over---we then went straight into a Pinata--oh my, was that HIT!! Grandpa Lynn was in charge of that and he did a TREMENDOUS job!! It was fun to watch the kids take turns swinging and hitting it!! Guess the T-ball gave them perfect practice! :) Karen also had a swimming pool blown up and filled it with plastic balls--total hit with the little ones!!
We then went right into Kaden's (Josh and Amber's) First Birthday Bash. They had a cake for him and little cupcakes. There was also strawberries and whipped cream--oh so YUMMY!! We then just sat around and enjoyed each others' company!! Very fun!! Grandma had a good time snuggling with the babies!! We love you Grandma!!!

It really was a GREAT day--Thanks again Karen, Grandpa Lynn, and Grandma Debbie for the fun time!! It really was a FUN FILLED, nonstop day!! The kids had a total BLAST playing with their cousins and enjoying all the activities that were put together for them!! We really are blessed with the BEST family ever!!
