Tyler's EVENTFUL day at SCHOOL....

Tyler called Grandma and Grandpa Brinkerhoff Monday morning before going to school and asked if they would come to lunch with him. They were on their way to Seattle, so they obviously didn't make it Monday. Tyler then hit them up for the next time he would be in school, which was today! This morning, he called them as he was eating breakfast and reminded them that today was THE DAY!! He was beyond EXCITED!! He told them to pack a lunch and NOT be late!! Grandma and Grandpa took Brandon with them and went to lunch today with the Kindergartners!! Brandon thought he was pretty cool to go with them.

Tyler came home from school and he told me, "They came Mom, They came!" He was ecstatic. He then went on to explain to me he thought they forgot because he didn't see them as his class passed the office. The times I have gone with him--that is where we have consequently met him. He said, "I didn't see them at that intersection (right by the office), so I was just positive they forgot to come!" He then went on to the cafeteria with his class and there Grandma and Grandpa were---waiting right outside the cafeteria doors! TYLER WAS TICKLED!!! Grandpa hopes when he is a Sophomore in High School--Tyler invites him for a lunch date! :)

As he was sitting at the table doing his homework tonight, he said, "I wonder if Grandma and Grandpa will come for lunch again on Friday?" I think Tyler had a little more fun than Grandma and Grandpa did---he is FUNNY!!! I told him to give them a little break and then ask them again later!! He was sooo excited--he told me they even went out to the playground, but it was TOO MUDDY!! Tyler HATES gettin dirty!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for going with Tyler---it really made his day!! WE LOVE YOU!!! (Grandpa should have taken pictures with his cell phone---but he is a little bit technically challenged!!) It is good he uses it to talk on at least!! :)

Here is his Journal that he has drawn pictures in and written words in--this is for sure a KEEPER!! Some cute stuff in it!! :) I love Brandon's cute grin--he was sneakin into the picture!! He loves to see what Tyler does in school each day!!
