High Hopes!!!

I was back in my laundry room---I mean bedroom (nothing like sharing the purposes of rooms) folding clothes and the kids were having a discussion. Here is how it went--

Tyler and Brandon were playing with their dart guns having a BLAST!!

Brandon said, "When I grow up I am going to be a Dad!"
Tyler said, "Well, when I grow up I am going to be a dentist!!"
Brandon replied, "Well, since I am going to be a Dad, I won't have to have a dart gun--I will get a REAL gun--that's what 'Dads' have."
Kara sat there quietly just soaking it all in, and then spouted out---"Well, when I grow up, I am going to be a Mom, so then I can go buy groceries!!"

Oh Boy, what a exciting life Mom's have!! :)

No, it is fun to hear your kids say that they want to be Moms and Dads--the reason to be a Mom and Dad on the other hand are quite amusing!!
