Our own Little Mary & Joseph

We had our Ward Christmas Party last Friday Night and it was a lot of FUN!! Brandon and Kara were asked to be Joseph and Mary for part of the little program and they were sooo excited. A BIG thanks to Di Cluff for the AMAZING costumes she MADE for them!! She is absolutely amazing!! Both Brandon and Kara LOVED going to Di's house to get measured up and try on their costumes!! They received LOTS of compliments at the party--thanks again Di!!

The older Primary children sang some Christmas songs as the younger primary class and nursery class stood and acted as the nativity scene--it was really neat. Tyler was a little disappointed that he did not get to wear a costume like Brandon and Kara. The whole week before the party, Brandon and Kara talked about being Mary and Joseph, since Tyler did not have a "part" while they played, he decided he would be "Nephi." It is funny to 'listen' to them play. As they played I heard Tyler explaining to Kara that Brandon was not 'Joseph Smith,' he was just 'Joseph.' So much to remember and keep straight!!

Emily, Kara, Brandon, & Tyler before our Ward Activity. Emily was not happy--she wanted to go 'bye bye' and forget about the picture!!

"SWEET Mary"
Kara did a great job--she was actually quiet and reverent.

"Loving Joseph"
Brandon was the perfect Joseph and loved every minute of it.

Joseph & Mary together--a little of "Brandon" & "Kara" personality shining through in a few pictures!!

Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus

Emily & Grandma Brinkerhoff keeping 'quiet' in the back!

Brooke enjoying her first Christmas Party!!

Brandon making a Christmas Tree ornament that we didn't finish that night at the activity.

Tyler making his Christmas Tree ornament--they loved them. They were beaded candy canes. We love them on our tree-they don't break!!
