FIRST Snow!!

We finally got our first snow and the kids have LOVED it!! It snowed a little Friday night and Tyler looked out the window and asked, "Is today Christmas?" For some reason he has in his head it wasn't suppose to snow until Christmas. They have LOVED playing in it!! We really have not had much to speak of, but enough to please Tyler, Brandon, and Kara!! I got them all geared up in their snow suits, hats, and gloves and sent them on their way. It was freezin' outside. Troy said, "Ya let them go out, they will be back in in 20 minutes!" Two hours later, Brandon came in and three and a half hours later Tyler came in--cold weather does NOT bother or stop Tyler!! Kara just did the typical in and out!! Her gloves of course got wet, so she came in and went into the bathroom to try to 'dry' them off on her bath towel--didn't quite work so well, but she tried!! There was only a skiff of snow, but they managed to build a Snowman and have a BLAST!! They came in for a carrot for their snowman's nose. Brandon took his and then asked, "When I am done with it can I eat it?" He is funny--he LOVES carrots!! Sure enough when he came in from playing, his snowman did NOT have a nose and he said, "Mom, I ate my carrot, can I have more?" Tyler, Brandon, & Kara definitely excited for it to be winter so they can wear their boots and playin in the snow!! Emily and Brooke were lucky enough to be taking a nap at the time of ALL this excitement!! Emily did put her coat on and tried on some gloves--then she went to bed!!
