Learned the 'Skill'--now needs PRACTICE!!
Kara has been begging for her training wheels to be off so Troy finally took them off Friday night. Oh my, Kara is Hilarious--she thought she was just going to be able to get on her bike and ride away. Little did she know (or want to admit) she needed help!! I have to be honest--she did way better than I thought she would. She rode for a little and Troy would let go and she would continue until she realized he let go and then she would FREAK!! She wanted off her bike and she wanted to go to Grandma's--she then turned to me and asked if she could ride her bike--I then had to explain to her she needed a little more experience before we could take on that adventure!! She has the concept down--but she is still pretty shaky--she was not feeling super good that night so she didn't ride a lot!! We have ALL kinds of time for her to get GOOD though!! Pretty soon she will be just as CRAZY as her BIG BROTHERS!!!

HOT, SUMMER Days!!!
I got this pool for the kids---they LOVE it!! The first time I blew it up it was chilly and cold--but they still wanted to swim in it!! It didn't last 30 minutes. I noticed it was NOT holding air---LOVELY!! I took it back to the store and explained the situation and they were happy to trade it! As I was rolling it up and packing it back in the box--Brandon came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I explained to him we needed to take it back because it didn't hold air and it is suppose to. He got a worried look on his face and asked if I was going to get another pool. I told him I would. He was then quiet and he turned to me and said, "Well this time, will you just get one like Uncle Richard's-its way bigger anyway?" Uncle Richard has an in ground one---I don't think Kings sells those!! HA HA!! I would love to buy on though!! For now, this will do--they still LOVE to swim in it!! Young kids are oh so EASY to please--but they are funny & honest thinkers!!

5 COLD lil' Fish....
We got a fancy "new" pool today!! The kids were oh soooo excited to try it out!! It was rather COLD & WINDY--but they didn't think so---well, until they got in the water!! BRRRRR!!!!! They still had fun---and would NOT admit that it was a little on the chilly side to be swimming!! FUNNY, FUNNY KIDS!!!!
