BEWARE........

It's SPRING BREAK folks!!!

Much NEEDED FUN Weekend!!

This past weekend was TERRIFIC!!! We spent Saturday as a FAMILY--couldn't have been better!! This past week--Troy had not gotten home before 9:00 p.m. and left each morning very early so the kids did not see him much!! They were THRILLED that he was actually around on Saturday---so was I!! :) We went over and of course ran a few errands for his work then the fun began!! :)

We went into Costco! It was a complete ZOO!!! Hello, it was Saturday--we definitely were not the only ones there!! The kids were GREAT!! We LOVE COSTCO!!
We did a little bit of shopping and then of course just wandered a little bit!! As we were walking around I was holding Brooke so she was facing out looking at people and several people came up and thought she was a doll!! It was funny!!! We left Costco and our plans were to go to the ZOO!!! The kids have been wanting to go to the Zoo for quite some time--so since Troy was with us--we were going to attempt it!!

First things come first though---everyone was hungry!! I had packed a lunch for us to eat--we just had to find a good spot to eat!! We did---we went to Ann Morrison Park!! Emily of course fell asleep on the way there. That's was perfectly fine--she had missed her nap!! :) The kids all ate their sandwiches and crackers--they had a BLAST!!!

As we were eating, the kids spotted the ducks across the street and of course wanted to go and feed them!! Luckily, I had bought bread at Costco--so yes, we fed the ducks our FRESH bread!! (Good thing because I caught each of the kids sneakin bites--even though they just finished lunch!) It was funny to watch them!! Emily did not feed the ducks ANY of her bread---she ate it ALL!! It was hilarious!! Then before we left, Emily of course had to hurry and eat!! :) She didn't quite get full from the bread she wouldn't share with the ducks!!

It started lightning a little bit,
so off to the car we went!! It was sprinkling a little, but not hard so we headed off to the Zoo!! The kids were soooo excited!! We got EVERYONE out of the car and headed up to the entrance of the Zoo. We got half way up the the door--and all of a sudden just DUMPED on us!! It was raining cats and dogs!! We all turned around and bolted back to the car. Troy was holding Emily and I had Brooke in the Bjorn!! Tyler, Brandon, and Kara were on their own!! Kara was yelling the whole time, "I am getting WET!!" I was laughing so hard!! We finally made it back to the car and everyone jumped in!! The kids were totally disgusted--they wanted to go in sooo bad!! Tyler said, "Where do the animals go when it rains?" He was quite concerned!! We drove around the parking lot a little, thinking it would stop!! It still was sprinkling a little, but we got out anyway--and let the kids out and look through the fence. It was 4:15 at that point and the Zoo closed at 5:00--so obviously we have to go another day!! BUMMER!!

As we let the kids look through the fence-the sun was out, but it was still raining, so we got back in the car to head out. I got all the kids in and buckled--quite the job!! I got in and settled and then Troy came around and opened my door and had me get out--he then gave me a BIG KISS in the RAIN!! He is soooo funny!! A few weeks ago we had the discussion if we had kissed in the rain and I said hadn't and he said we had!! He gave me a kiss and then with a smirk on his face--he said, "See, we HAVE KISSED in the RAIN!" He is such a funny guy that I LOVE to PIECES!!

Off to our next destination---Cash and Carry. I have really been working on our Food Storage lately wanted to get a few more things. Perfect opportunity--we were downtown Boise, close to Cash and Carry and Troy was with me so I would not have to take kids in with me---VERY RARE!!! It was soooo nice!! I went in and got some big bags of beans and corn meal---notice in the pictures--good thing our kids are so little!! Kara had no place to put her feet in the car!!

We then headed home!! What a fun day!! It was AWESOME to be together as a FAMILY!! The kids had a blast--well except being disappointed for not being able to to the Zoo (we are going this week since it is Spring Break). Even though it was crazy weather---we still had a FUN time just being together!! I am truly blessed!! I LOVE my Husband and Kids!!

I'm a BIG Kid NOW!!!

I got the ExerSaucer out last night for Brooke!! I am not sure who loves it more--Brooke or the BIG kids who LOVE all the toys on it. Everyone now acts like this is the only COOL toy in the house!! Kids are FUNNY!!!

Brooke LOVES sitting in the saucer!! She can't quite reach the bottom, so she can't move--but she loves looking at all the colors and grabbing the toys!!

She is growing way to fast----FIVE months already!! Too Crazy!!

Too Cute!!

So close to touching (she's on her tippy toes)--then the bouncing will begin!!

Fun Times!! I love her expression here---kinda like--"Mom--put your camera UP!!"

LOVE IT!!

FIRST ride of the YEAR!!!

Grandpa Brinkerhoff got a motorcycle last year!! Tyler absolutely LOVES going for rides with him!! Today was the FIRST official ride of the year!! I am not sure who was the most excited!! :) They came up to our house on one of their quick rides!! I am sure this is one of many rides!!

Two very HAPPY boys!! :)

Kara & Emily had to come out and check out ALL the excitement!! Brandon was a watching a movie and didn't even realize what was going on outside!!

Emily was a little unsure of Grandpa in his helmet--it was quite funny!!!

She was NOT impressed when Grandpa revved up the motorcycle--she FREAKED out!!

Grandpa of course got a kick out of her being scared and so he did it again--and she went running!!

Soakin up some SUN!!!

Today was oh sooooo WARM---YEAH!! I love the SUNSHINE!! Our house doesn't seem so SMALL on sunny days!! :) It is like we all of a sudden have a family room---right in the back yard!! I LOVE IT!!!!

Emily absolutely LOVES going outside---she thinks she is just as big as the rest of them!! She wanders around and LOVES every minute of it!! Kara and Brandon love to ride their bikes and of course play in the play house. Tyler went to spend the day with Grandpa--since he is leaving town tomorrow!! Grandma rode her bike here and Tyler and her rode back to her house----he was THRILLED!!

I got all of the winter coats, hats, gloves, and snowsuits boxed up---hopefully I am not jumping the gun!! Winter is OVER folks!!! I also had made some cookies today--I tripled the batch!! Yikes--it was quite the workout for my Bosch---but we did it!! I did a full cookie sheet of just dough for Troy and then cooked the rest for the kids!! We aim to please at our house!! Troy could live on cookie dough!! :)

...and to think this will only last about a week!! Ugh---makes my stomach hurt thinking about it!! Troy loves his cookies dough for his late night snack---well and anytime during the day too!! :)

Cooked & ready for the kids to devour!!!

Emily LOVES LOVES LOVES playing outside!!

Kara of course had to join the photo shoot! She is Emily's 'little mother' outside!!

Kara is stinkin cute, but can be soooo sassy!!!

Miss Emily, thinking she is HOT stuff!!

Kara LOVES her PINK bike!!!

Some of her ATTITUDE shining through!!

Anyone need a ride?!!?

Hard to tell, but I do not think Emily wants Kara to push her!!

Happily playing together!!

Kara likes to ride Emily's bike because she can go faster and keep up with the boys!!

Brandon and Kara usually play pretty good together while Tyler is gone---they each seem to take turns being boss!! :) Works out great!!

Brandon is a little pro on his bike without training wheels!! They love dodging all the boxes we have around outside for Ecolab!! Nice built in obstacle course!!

Brandon being a nice big brother, giving Emily a ride!!

Emily would have sat there ALL day!!

Cute Brooke just chilled inside!!

I LOVE her little smiles she gives me---it makes some of my long days--not so long!:)

Tyler's Kindergarten Class....

Here is Tyler's Class Picture!! I was very impressed---I thought it turned out GREAT!! What a cute bunch of kids!! In all the six years I taught--every year there was ALWAYS one kid that thought he would be funny and make a face!! Ya gotta love those kids!! Tyler has a very CUTE class and a great teacher!!!

Tyler is the CUTE boy in the red and white shirt on the front row, clear to the left!

Brooke Did It!!

Brooke was as happy as can be just playing on the floor this morning!!
She was just squealing and screeching!!
Kara even gave Brooke her PINK bunny to play with while she was eating breakfast. I was in the kitchen feeding the other kids and all of a sudden I could tell Brooke was upset. She wasn't crying, but from her squealing---I could tell she was MAD!!!
I walked in and here she is...

She ROLLED over!! Man oh Man--she is getting too BIG!!!

She could NOT get her arm out and she was NOT happy!! I of course had to take a picture before I helped her!! :)

What's Missing?!?!

We have quite the dilema at our house!! Emily sleeps in a portable crib and the last week she has learned to crawl out!!! She is our family monkey--she crawls up everything!! UGH!!! Getting her down for a nap is a little bit tricky--but usually she is tired enough that she just gets out one time and then she dozes off!! Then at night she of course plays around because Kara is in the room with her!! LOVELY!!

Well, this morning Kara came out of her room and said---"Mom, why is Emily asleep on my floor?" I walked in and there she is---right next to Kara's bed!! I heard some noise this morning about 5, but thought nothing of it. I heard her talking and playing, but I thought she was still in her bed---obviously she was out of bed and just havin a hay day!! She couldn't get back into bed and so she just laid down and went back to sleep!! Floor can't be as comfy as her bed--obviously she doesn't mind!

Obviously, I am in the market for another toddler bed!! I really would like to get a set of bunkbeds for them--just haven't found any yet--until then I really need a toddler bed before we have a broken arm!! She is oh so proud of herself when she crawls out--she runs around the house just laughing after she gets out!!
